Summer
My favourite season is summer. I like summer because I have summer holidays, I don’t go to school and I have a lot of fun.The weather is often fine. The trees are covered with leaves. There are many birds in the parks and gardens. There is fresh grass and many flowers on the ground. The sun is shining brightly, it’s warm.
Sometimes when it becomes very hot and stuffy we can go to the country. There we can swim in the fresh cool water of the lake or river.
Summer is the time when there is a lot of fruit and vegetables. I am a good eater. I can eat a lot of strawberries in my granny’s garden. They are very sweet and tasty there. I like to sit under the tree and eat strawberries reading a very interesting book. A fantastic time!
